Our Community

The Seger neighborhood falls within two sections of the city known as Bella Vista and Washington Square West, nestled in an area where quiet meets exciting. Most of the businesses are located on South Street between 8th and 11th Streets. The homes can be found two or three blocks in either direction, and many are situated directly across the street from the Seger Playground itself. Our neighborhood is family-oriented, and has great appeal to those with and without children. We are within a few blocks of not only the Seger Playground, but also the Palumbo Recreation Center, as well as diverse and wonderful dining experiences for couples and families alike. Additionally, within our community are two large supermarkets, Super Fresh and Whole Foods, along with a CVS Pharmacy. There is ample street parking, as well as garage parking at both supermarkets. Safety is always paramount when visiting or living in any big city. Feel safe knowing that there is a Philadelphia Police mini-station in the middle of the neighborhood, situated on South Street between 9th and 10th Streets. With this unique combination of green space, a family environment, unique dining venues, and all basic shopping needs steps away, the Seger neighborhood is true a gem in Philadelphia.
